FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly to piston machines. In compliance with the proposed invention, machine crosshead and housing are provided with guides that have contact surfaces to accommodate rollers there between to transfer reactive force to the housing that acts on the side of crosshead. Note here that crosshead guides are arranged on its opposite sides. At least two rollers are arranged on crosshead one side. Note also that guides are furnished with toothed racks, while rollers have sync gears in mesh with toothed racks of both housing and crosshead.
EFFECT: higher reliability, longer life, higher power-to-volume ratio and engine efficiency.
