FIELD: combined processing of parts by surface plastic deformation using ultrasonic vibrations.

SUBSTANCE: two working tools are used, installed perpendicular to the surface of the part, and they can move along the part with longitudinal feed. Working tools are installed on opposite sides of the part opposite to each other with the displacement of their axes in the horizontal plane. The value of the mentioned displacement of the axes of the working tools is assigned as a multiple of the value of the longitudinal feed, counting from the minimum displacement of the axes, equal to the value of half the value of the longitudinal feed. Ultrasonic frequency fluctuations are imparted to the working tool, which is installed with a lag in the path of moving the working tools along the part.

EFFECT: quality of hardening in the processing of parts is improved due to the exclusion of their deflection from the pressure of the tool and uniform processing along the length of the part.
