FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related specifically to a system of fuel cells that generate electricity and heat supplied for heating houses and buildings. The result is achieved due to the fact that when heating is required outside, the temperature of the heating water in the boiler unit is not lower than the control value and the charge of the battery pack is higher than the control value, the control unit can control the operation of the fuel cell stack and can additionally control the heating of network water in the boiler unit using electricity stored in the battery pack. The fuel cell system includes: a converter in which the fuel is converted, a converted fuel storage unit into which the converted fuel is supplied from the converter and stored, a fuel cell package that generates electricity and heat using the converted fuel, a boiler unit that provides heating using network water, a battery pack that stores the electricity generated in the fuel cell package, and a control unit that controls the operation of the converter, the converted fuel storage unit, the fuel cell pack, the boiler unit and the battery pack, while the control unit activates the converter using network water from the boiler unit, when the temperature of the network water in the boiler unit is higher than the first control value, and the volume of storage of the converted fuel stored in the storage unit of the converted fuel is not higher than the second control value.
EFFECT: improving the energy efficiency of the fuel cell system by reducing the loss of thermal energy.
