SUBSTANCE: boundaries of the tumor are determined. The tongue is brought out. Under visual-manual control, an incision is made through the entire thickness of the tongue, retreating from the edge of the tumor by 1.0 cm. The topography of the duplication of the stylo-lingual and hyoid-lingual muscles is determined. The tongue and tissues of the floor of the mouth affected by the tumor are resected, while maintaining the above-mentioned muscle duplications and the hypoglossal and lingual nerves of the healthy half of the floor of the mouth not involved in the tumor process.

EFFECT: method enables optimal access to the tumor process of the tissues of the tongue and the floor of the mouth when the patient refuses mandibulotomy, provides an ablast result while maintaining the hypoglossal and lingual nerves not involved in the tumor process, which provide the functions of the tongue.
