SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology and surgery, and can be used during surgical interventions for common cancers of the oral cavity (COC) and oropharynx (OP). It involves cervical lymphadenectomy, external carotid artery ligation, preventive tracheostomy, radical removal of the tumor process, mandibulotomy if necessary. After lymph node dissection, the bottom and the lateral walls of the orostoma are formed by a quadrangular cutaneous flap formed and incised into two halves, upper edge of orostoma is created by a triangular flap of mandibular skin with dissection of skin and soft tissues of cheek and lower jaw required for expansion of operative approach to tumor in oral cavity, formed upper and lower skin flaps, after dissecting oral cavity bottom in its deepest point formed by intersection of sublingual-chin and hyoid-mandibular muscles, is introduced into oral cavity and sutured to edges of mucosa and muscles of oral cavity bottom, forming a groove, through which oral cavity is sanitized with antiseptics and spontaneously removed mouth fluid.

EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness in the patients with the above pathology by draining the operated oral cavity with effectively functioning orostoma, provides evacuation of oral fluid and purulent contents from the oral cavity, preventing necrosis and decomposition of the soft tissues.
