WAY TO TREAT ACNE Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61N5/67 A61N5/73

Abstract RU 2794646 C2

FIELD: surgery; cosmetology.

SUBSTANCE: skin is exposed to a source of intense pulsed light. The wavelength spectrum, number of passes, pulse durations and energy density values are selected. At the same time, the impact on pathologically dilated skin vessels is carried out using an intense pulsed light source equipped with light filters with a wavelength spectrum from 400–800 nm to 635–1,400 nm. Processing is carried out with pulse duration from 0.5 ms to 200 ms and energy density values from 3 to 50 J/cm2. Additionally, the sebaceous glands and scars are affected with a mid-infrared laser. In this case, the number of passes, the density of microthermal zones (MTZ) of treatment and the energy density values are selected depending on the wavelength of the laser used as follows: 70–280 MTZ per square centimeter of area is processed with a fractional mid-infrared laser with a wavelength of 1,410 nm at energy density values of 20–40 mJ/MTZ. Or, 49–320 MTS per square centimeter of area are treated with a fractional mid-infrared laser with a wavelength of 1,540 nm at energy densities of 30–80 mJ/MTS. Or, 140–300 MTS per square centimeter are treated with a 1,550 nm mid-infrared fractional laser at energy densities ranging of 30–60 mJ/MTS. Or, 100–300 MTS per square centimeter are treated with a 1,565 nm mid-infrared fractional laser at energy densities ranging of 35–60 mJ/MTS. Or they act on the sebaceous glands and scars with a non-fractional mid-infrared laser for 1–2 passes with a wavelength of 1,450 nm at energy density values of 14–18 J/cm2. Or they act on the sebaceous glands and scars with a non-fractional mid-infrared laser for 3–6 passes with a wavelength of 1,540 nm at energy densities of 7–12 J/cm2.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to improve the condition of scars and stagnant spots, prevent the appearance of new rashes, ensure stable remission without maintenance therapy, and reduce the number of procedures.
