SUBSTANCE: feed additive for cats or dogs or horses, characterized by its consisting of products based on crustaceans of the family Artemiidae at different stages of development, including crushed cysts in the shell, or decapsulated cysts, or nauplii, or adults, or an extract from the said products, containing biochemical complexes of lipids, proteins, carbohydrates, amino acids and vitamins, the quantitative ratios between which correspond to the stage of development of crustaceans of the Artemiidae family, and the mentioned products are made in dry, or paste-like, or canned, or liquid form, while products based on crustaceans of the Artemiidae family on different stages of development are characterized by the following ratio of biochemical complexes of lipids, proteins and carbohydrates, % to dry weight:
the feed additive is included into the composition of the main feed at its weight fraction of not more than 2–5%. A method of feeding cats or dogs or horses, including the inclusion of a feed additive according to claims 1–10; the additive consists of products based on crustaceans of the Artemiidae family at different stages of development, including crushed cysts in the shell, or decapsulated cysts, or nauplii, or adults, or an extract from the mentioned products, containing biochemical complexes of lipids, proteins, carbohydrates, amino acids and vitamins, the quantitative ratios between which correspond to the stage of development of crustaceans of the Artemiidae family, and the mentioned products are made in dry or pasty or canned or liquid form, mg/kg of live weight:
the feed additive is included into the composition of the main feed at its weight fraction of not more than 2–5%, while the course of taking the feed additive for healthy animals is up to 60 days, and for weakened, sick, pregnant or aging animals up to 90 days.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the balance of the biochemical composition of elements in feed additive complexes.
