FIELD: borehole oil production.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to monitor the thickness of formation of asphaltene-resin-paraffin deposits along the length of pumping and compression piping. In the method for monitoring the thickness of the formation of asphaltene-resin-paraffin deposits in a working well, a telemetry system equipped with thermocouples is placed in the well, the output of the telemetry system is connected by cable to a transmitting and recording device, after which the temperature value measured by thermocouples is sent to a transmitting and recording device, transmitting and recording device constantly transfers data array with adjustable discreteness to a personal computer. Moreover, the telemetry system with thermocouples is attached close to the outer surface of the pumping and compression piping string located inside the production string. The distance between sections with thermocouples along the length of the tubing string is no more than 10 m. During the initial start-up of an oil-producing well, the temperature of the outer surface of the pumping and compression piping string in the sections under consideration is measured, the well is brought to a steady state of operation, after which the obtained temperature values are recorded. The temperature value of the outer surface of the pumping and compression piping string measured by thermocouples in each of the sections under consideration is sent to the transmitting and recording device, then the data array is transmitted to a personal computer from the transmitting and recording device with a resolution of 1 s to 1 min via a wireless communication channel, the temperature of the steady flow of the oil-containing liquid is calculated according to the Fourier law, taking into account the measured values of the temperature of the outer surface of the pumping and compression piping, the thermal characteristics of the pumping and compression piping material and the thickness of the pumping and compression piping wall. In case of a detection of a decrease in the temperature value of the outer surface of the pumping and compression piping, a quantitative determination of the thickness of the deposits is carried out using the correlation dependencies of the thermal parameters of the formed deposit, the thickness of the pumping and compression piping wall and the Fourier law.

EFFECT: quantitative determination of the thickness of formed deposits on the inner surface of the pumping and compression piping string in real time.
