FIELD: construction; road construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction and can be used in the construction and reconstruction of linear structures on weak soils, including permafrost soils of the 3rd and 4th categories of thermal subsidence, on drainless areas and swamps of the 2nd and 3rd types of railways and roads, main pipelines, dams and dikes. Method for constructing subgrade of an additional track on a base that is weak during thawing includes backfilling of rocky soil on the slope of the existing roadway and reinforcing the base soils before backfilling on the slope, laying non-woven synthetic material and fixing it on the slope of the roadbed. Before laying synthetic non-woven material, in the upland part of the slope, before backfilling, the soils of its base are reinforced by constructing a water-pressing berm from clay soil, which is constructed from clay soil in the form of a prism with a vertex on the slope of the embankment, located at the distance of the width of the base of the backfilled subgrade of an additional path and a prism from rocky soil. In the lower part of the berm, on one end of the synthetic non-woven material, crushed stone is dosed and wrapped in the form of a drain with a diameter of 0.3 m to 0.7 m, the rest of the synthetic non-woven material is rolled onto the berm and fixed on the slope of the embankment. Then the subgrade of the additional track and the prism from the rocky soil with the apex above the drain are backfilled, while the berm from the clay soil along the length of the roadway and the prism from the rocky soil are backfilled with a gradual widening towards the outlet.
EFFECT: development of an earthen structure, the stability of which is ensured by eliminating settlement of the foundation soils due to a new form of prisms from the low and up sides of the embankment, which provide reinforcement and a constant unhindered flow of moisture from the zone with weak soils, when waterlogged, in the longitudinal and transverse directions, drainage of weak soils at the base of an earthen structure and their strengthening, thus greatly increasing its service life.
