FIELD: repair or protection of inner surface of pipelines.

SUBSTANCE: method includes emptying pipe sections from the transported medium, cleaning the inner surface and removing build-ups, washing, and drying. Then, during the teleinspection of the cleaned area, the length of the repaired area, the depth of damage, the presence of through defects, joints and turns are determined. The fabric sheath is impregnated with a modified polymeric binder, introduced into the repaired section of the pipeline, pressed against the pipe walls by blowing an airtight film sleeve. The sleeve is inserted under air pressure with turning the fabric sheath inside out with its simultaneous expansion. The film sleeve has three longitudinal equidistant tapes made of strong fabric, which ensure uniform distribution of air pressure and improve the fit of the fabric sheath to the inner side of the pipe being restored during inflation and turning the sleeve inside out. After complete structuring of the cover, the sleeve is easily removed without breaking by turning it inside out.

EFFECT: covering of the inner surface of the damaged sections of the pipeline, obtained using a modified composite, has an improved quality with more even surfaces and more reliable sealing of voids and cracks.
