FIELD: helicopter engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for dynamic alignment of helicopter coordinate systems based on their vector arrangement. For dynamic alignment, three orthogonal projections of the linear and angular velocity vectors of the helicopter are measured, which are measured as a result of independent processing of image streams of the optoelectronic system (OES). The measurement results are compared with the information of the platformless inertial navigation system (PINS). In this case, the measurement of the orientation of these vectors is not carried out simultaneously. The measurement of the linear velocity vector orientation is carried out when performing a horizontal straight flight at a low altitude and the absence of angular velocity, and the measurement of the angular velocity vector orientation is carried out during rotation around the vertical axis and the absence of linear movement of the helicopter.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of estimation of angular error of OES and PINS measurement results, reduced weight and size characteristics.
