FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: angles of orientation of TV or TI image transducer gyro stabilized vision field are measured in optoelectronic system of front vision relative to aircraft construction line wherein optical image is constructed in focal plane and read off by matrix sensors. Reference points on the Earth surface are isolated by TV/TI images for their further tracking. Reference point image paths over image transducer focal plane are recorded. Here, they are tracked on frame continuity to record their coordinates, time moments of frames generation, angles of transducer vision field orientation relative to aircraft construction lines, readings of acceleration transducers and generation with the help of SNS and INS of evaluations of velocity vector components by aircraft construction lines at said time moments. Pairs of simultaneously generated sections are isolated to determine for each pair the convergence point coordinates as intersections of extensions of chords connecting said sections. Parameters of boresights angular positions are determined for boresights crossing the obtained convergence points and projection centre. The latter is used in image transducer for generation of optical image to define the direction of aircraft mean speed vectors in time intervals of generation of said pairs of image reference point path sections over focal plane. Recorded data are used to correct the aircraft mean speed vectors of direction by reducing them to current time for determination of said mean speed parameters relative to coordinate system related with image transducer vision field as the result of averaging of angular position corrected parameters. Angular position corrected parameters, image transducer vision field orientation angles relative to aircraft construction lines and bank and pitch angles at current time are used to define the angles that set the direction of aircraft actual speed vector relative to aircraft lengthwise axis projection onto horizontal pane (side lip angle).
EFFECT: higher accuracy of heading measurement.
