SUBSTANCE: banknote storage unit of the ATM contains: a lower cassette and an upper cassette having banknotes stored in them and stacked vertically; an external control board located outside of the lower cassette and the upper cassette for power supply and transmission of a communication signal to the lower cassette and the upper cassette; the first and the second internal control boards electrically connected to the external control board and located inside the lower cassette and the upper cassette, for power supply and communication signal transmission to each of the components inside the lower cassette and the components inside the upper cassette; a plurality of connectors interconnected to electrically connect the external control board and the first and second internal control boards; and position alignment means, configured to guide the plurality of connectors when the upper cassette is laid on the lower cassette to connect them together in correct positions.

EFFECT: simplifying the configuration of the device for supplying power and transmitting a communication signal to vertically stacked cassettes.
