SUBSTANCE: paper sheet processing system includes a paper sheet processing device, which includes a verification device, a rejection device and a first communication module, and a robot device, which includes a robot arm and a second communication module. Rejection device issues a rejected paper sheet and a batch identification card to the rejection port. When the batches identification card is detected, the first communication module transmits the predetermined signal to the robot device. After reception of the predefined signal, the robot device retrieves the rejected paper sheet and the batch identification card from the port for rejection by means of the robot manipulator, moves them to the other storage unit and transmits the termination signal to the paper sheet processing device.
EFFECT: disclosed is a sheet processing system and a method of processing paper sheets.
