FIELD: multilayer biodegradable film.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in manufacturing of packaging and has a noticeable optical transparency along with high level mechanical characteristics. The multilayer film contains at least one first layer A and at least one second layer B, and layers A and B have an A/B/A mutual arrangement, layer A and layer B differ from each other, layer A contains aliphatic and/or aliphatic-aromatic biodegradable polyester, whereas layer B contains from 30 to 95% by weight of at least one polyester, from 0.1 to 40% by weight of starch, from 1 to 30% by weight of at least one lactic acid polyester, from 0 to 15% by weight of at least one inorganic filler and from 0 to 5% by weight of at least one cross-linking agent and/or chain extender, and the specified aliphatic-aromatic polyester in layer A contains a dicarboxylic component; and a diol component.

EFFECT: multilayer film according to the invention has very good mechanical properties, high biodegradability and good optical properties, which makes it suitable for manufacturing of various types of packaging and can also be used for manufacturing of mulch films due to its high degree of degradability at low temperatures, combined with good mechanical properties.
