FIELD: rib sensors.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed are variants of a rib sensor, methods for using it, and manufacturing assemblies of such a sensor. A variant of the rib sensor has a base (106), wherein the base is attached to the first rib (108a) and the second rib (108b), the rib sensor (102) further has at least two transducers (104a and 104b) attached to the ribs (108a and 108b), the first rib (108a) is connected to the second rib (108b) via at least one rib connector (120a and/or 120b). Another variant has a base (106) and a balancing rib (118), in which the base (106) attached to the first rib (108a) and the second rib (108b), the rib sensor (102) additionally has at least two measuring transducers (104a and 104b) attached to the ribs (108a and 108b), a balancing rib (118) is attached to one or more of the base (106) and the base connector (116).
EFFECT: possibility of frequency separation between in-phase and out-of-phase modes, potentially providing an opportunity for better measurement and calibration.
