FIELD: construction structures.
SUBSTANCE: pressure metal treatment for the manufacture of bridge and crane structures, load-bearing systems of buildings and structures flooring. A pipe with a hexagonal cross section is obtained by carrying out process operations to change the cross section of a round pipe. The section consists of a pair of walls, a pair of shelves and two pairs of inclined faces. Shelves and sloped faces are of the same size. The inclined faces form obtuse angles of 135° with the shelves and walls. The ratio of the overall dimensions of the width and height of section is 1/3.018 along the midline of this section.
EFFECT: increase in the bearing capacity of the tubular profile.
