FIELD: production of fibrous flax pulp.

SUBSTANCE: treatment of short flax fiber containing 1-5% shove with aqueous solutions (g/l) of: 0.1-15 nitric acid, then with a solution of 1-15 sodium hydroxide and 0.1-1 hydrotropic substances, oxidative-hydrolytic treatment is carried out with an alkaline solution of hydrogen peroxide containing 1-10 sodium hydroxide, 1.2-2.4 peroxide hydrogen and 0.1-1.5 hydrogen peroxide stabilizer, then 0.5-5.0 nitric acid, followed by flushing with water, pressing, loosening and drying.

EFFECT: improving the quality of the resulting fibrous cellulose, as well as increasing environmental safety and the efficiency of the process through the use of safe substances and waste from the processing of bast fibers as a raw material.
