FIELD: optics

SUBSTANCE: optical, diagnostic and instrumentation designed to measure the distribution of the concentration and size of non-spherical particles in liquids and gases, used in process complexes for controlling the size of nanopowders in their production, in the development of new methods of obtaining nanodispersed substances, for measuring the sizes of biopolymer particles suspended in biological fluids, pharmaceutical preparations and other submicron biological objects. The device contains a laser with an optical path for transporting laser radiation, a volume with the investigated medium, lenses, photodetectors located in the scattering plane. Additionally, it contains a pair of collimators, a beam splitter, a diaphragm, and iris diaphragms. Moreover, photodetectors located in the scattering plane are installed at angles of 20-75° to the volume with the investigated medium.

EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the device while improving the measurement accuracy.
