FIELD: methods of water purification.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the disposal of industrial and domestic wastewater. The method of water purification from oil products using nanostructured sorbents based on shungite, zeolite, coal includes the stage of preliminary purification of waste water from mechanical impurities and the stage of deep purification from oil products. The stage of deep purification includes determining the concentration of the pollutant, loading the sorbent at a concentration that is 10-30 times greater by weight than the concentration of the pollutant, mechanical mixing of the sorbent and purified water in the sorption chamber, and mechanical separation of particles at the outlet of the purification system. Nanostructured sorbents are represented by a fraction with a maximum transverse size from 1/10 to 1 of the size of the smallest particles of an oil pollutant.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of wastewater treatment contaminated with oil products, as well as increased service life of fine filters.
