FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil refining industry and specifically to methods of purifying oil-containing waste water, and can be used in recycling industrial wastes. Method includes steps of preliminary and deep purification of oil-containing waste water from mechanical impurities and oil products. Deep purification step involves determining concentration of the contaminant, loading a sorbent in concentration, mechanical mixing the sorbent and the purified water in a sorption chamber and mechanical separation of the contaminant at the outlet of the purification system. Mechanical mixing is carried out for 15 minutes with preheated to 50 °C purified water and preliminarily dried for 45 minutes at temperature 100 °C of the sorbent in a concentration which is 5% by weight greater than the concentration of the contaminant. Sorbent used is natural aluminosilicate gaize from the Kamennoyarsk deposit of the Astrakhan region in form of particles with size of 5-8 mm.

EFFECT: high quality of cleaning oil-containing waste water due to low content of mechanical impurities and oil products.
