FIELD: polyether industry.
SUBSTANCE: production of structural products for special purposes in additive techniques. Invention relates to a method for producing sized fiberglass by applying a sizing, which is 3,4-toluylenediamine 1.0-3.5 wt.%, onto glass fibre from a solution with a mass concentration of 0.21-0.73% in acetone, followed by a stepwise increase in temperature to 60°C and simultaneous distillation of the solvent, sized glass fibre obtained by the proposed method, and a polymer composite material that contains 80 wt.% of a polymer matrix based on polyesterimide and 20 wt.% of the proposed sized glass fibre.
EFFECT: improved compressive strength of the created polymer glass fibre composite material due to the introduction of a sizing component, which increases the wettability of the filler and increases intermolecular interactions between the glass fibre and the polyesterimide matrix.
