SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing sizing glass fibres intended for special-purpose structural products in additive technologies, based on sizing glass fibres by applying a sizing composition from a solution followed by drying in a drying oven under vacuum at 66÷67 °C, characterized in that the sizing composition, which is a mixture of 3,4-toluenediamine (3,4-TDA) and 4,4'-dioxyphthalophenone (DOPP), is applied from a solution with a mass concentration of 0.9% in an organic, highly volatile solvent - acetone and kept in an ultrasonic bath at 20 °C at an ultrasonic power of 35 kHz for 6 min, then a stepwise increase in temperature is carried out with simultaneous distillation of the solvent and exposure to ultrasound with an operating power of 35 kHz according to the following mode: 30 °C - 5 min; 40 °C - 5 min; 60 °C - 10 min; 75 °C - 15 min, and the quantitative ratio of the components corresponds, wt.%: glass fibre 96.5; DOPP 0.5÷ 3.0; 3.4-TDA 3.0÷ 0.5. Also described is a polymer composite material used in production of structural products in additive technologies, containing a polymer matrix based on polyetherimide and finished glass fibre obtained by the above method, and the quantitative ratio of the components in the composite material corresponds to, wt.%: polyetherimide - 80, finished glass fibre - 20.
EFFECT: improved compressive strength of the created polymer glass fibre composite material due to introduction of a sizing component, which improves wettability of the filler and increases intermolecular interactions between the glass fibre and the polyesterimide matrix.
