FIELD: biomanufacturing systems.

SUBSTANCE: systems and methods for use in integrated continuous biomanufacturing systems. Claimed method for monitoring and adjusting process parameters in a biological production system includes: obtaining a vibrational spectrum of a solution containing a biological product in a biological production system; analysing the vibrational spectrum using the first chemometric model to determine the value of the first quality attribute associated with the solution; analysing the vibrational spectrum using the second chemometric model to determine the value of the second quality attribute associated with the solution; and adjusting at least one parameter of the purification unit of the biological production system based on at least one of the values of the first and second quality attributes. In this case, obtaining a vibrational spectrum includes directing radiation so that it falls on the solution as a result of passing through the radiation-transmitting window, and measuring the total reflection of radiation from the solution recorded in the disturbed mode, which passes through the radiation-transmitting window.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determining the characteristics of the quantitative chemical, physical and/or biological properties of a number of different analytes in solution with the ability to control the parameters and operations of bioproduction associated with the technological process.
