FIELD: radio measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to frequency stabilization technique and can be used in quantum frequency standards of on-board equipment of mobile carriers. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the method of compensating for frequency variations of the radio spectroscope allows compensating for variations in the measured frequency of the radio spectroscope by setting the working magnetic field equal to the threshold value, which is determined using the equality of frequency variations based on quadratic correction in the field and the orientational light shift of the resonant frequency.
EFFECT: reduced measurement errors of the resonant frequency of the radio spectroscope caused by a change in the magnitude and direction of the external magnetic field.
