FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: method for determining the outburst hazard of salt rocks is claimed. The method includes drilling holes in the direction of the centre of the trough. It also includes determining the characteristics of the properties of the released gas and establishing the outburst hazard of rocks by changing the obtained indicators. The method disables the stage when a solvent is added to the sealed research hole through the inlet tube. The volume of the solvent is at least 50% of the volume of the hole, after which the walls of the research hole are dissolved with the release of microincorporated gases. The gases pass through the outlet tube to the odour analyser. The odours of C5H12 and CO2 are analysed and the results are recorded in the reference database of odours. The sealant is removed, the hole is loaded and additional cut holes are drilled according to the drilling and blasting certificate. Concussion blasting is carried out. If after the explosion there is a release of salt and gas, then the pre-detected odour is classified as extreme in the reference database of odours, which includes the minimum content of C5H12 and CO2. Blowout prevention measures are taken. If no release occurs, the pre-detected odour is entered into the reference database as non-hazardous. After that, blowout prevention measures are cancelled and mining operations continue in the usual manner with remote control by the treatment system.
