FIELD: medicine; neurosurgery.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to practice microsurgical skills in suturing the dura mater. The invention relates to teaching aids in medicine. The device for practicing microsurgical skills in suturing the dura mater contains a body, four overlays and at least one layer of material imitating the dura mater. The body has the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped. The base of a rectangular parallelepiped is a square. Above the body there are rise elements in the form of rectangular parallelepipeds truncated by a plane, the base of which is also a square. The parallelepipeds are located at the corners of the base of the body and face the truncated parts towards the center of the base of the body. Four overlays in the form of rectangular parallelepipeds truncated by a plane are fixed to the body with the possibility of removal. Layers of material imitating the dura mater are fixed to the overlays.
EFFECT: improving the skills for suturing the dura mater in novice neurosurgeons and reducing complications in practicing neurosurgeons.
