FIELD: neurosurgery, namely, devices for practicing transnasal endoscopic access.
SUBSTANCE: The neurosurgical simulator for practicing transnasal endoscopic access contains an artificial skull fragment on a stand, a clamping device and a removable module for practicing the skills of trepanning the Turkish saddle and opening and suturing the dura mater. An artificial skull fragment is a model of a skull fragment with a parasellar region. The skull fragment model includes a model of the bone structure of the nasal cavity, a model of the nasal cavity and a model of the Turkish saddle. The model of the Turkish saddle is openly communicated with the model of the nasal cavity and is made with the possibility of fixing the module for practicing the skills of trepanning the Turkish saddle and opening and suturing the dura mater, carried out using a clamping device.
EFFECT: The present invention enables to practice the skills of performing transnasal endoscopic access.
