FIELD: surgical instruments.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in maxillofacial surgery. A set of tools for eliminating the stricture of the Stenon's duct of the parotid salivary gland contains a polymer stent in the form of an elongated tube, a trocar with an oblique cut at the end and a flexible conductor, at the end of which a thread is made in the form of a drill for excision of the stricture. The outer diameter of the stent corresponds to the inner diameter of the trocar. The inner diameter of the stent corresponds to the diameter of the flexible conductor. The thread has 5–7 turns, made with a constant pitch. Along the length of the polymer stent, marks are evenly applied with a step of 10 mm.
EFFECT: reducing the trauma of surgical intervention by performing an operative access through an external puncture, the possibility of installing a stent in case of deformation of the mouth of the Stenon's duct and preventing the recurrence of pathology.
