FIELD: organic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing phosphonium tri(perfluoroethyl)trifluorophosphate compounds. A method for preparing phosphonium tri(perfluoroethyl)trifluorophosphate compounds of the general formula (PR1R2R.3R4)(PF3(C2F5)3), where R1, R2, R3, R1=C6H5 and/or CH3, comprising mixing equimolar amounts of two reagents in the form of salts, one of which is potassium tri(perfluoroethyl)trifluorophosphate, previously dissolved in a solvent, followed by washing with water of the resulting product and drying, characterized in that after mixing the indicated reagents, previously dissolved in a solvent, the reaction mixture is heated to 80°C with stirring for 1–5 minutes, while as the second reagent in the form of a salt, a reagent of the general formula (PR1R2R3R4)+A- is used, where R1, R2, R3, R4=C6H5 and/or CH3; A-=Br-, BF4-, Cl-, ClO4-, I-, NO3-, and water and/or dimethyl sulfoxide and/or dimethylformamide are used as a solvent is disclosed.
EFFECT: invention provides a simple and reproducible method for obtaining phosphonium tri(perfluoroethyl)trifluorophosphate salts both in laboratory and semi-industrial conditions.
