FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is intended for maintaining the volume of the cavity in the preperitoneal space when performing extraperitoneal surgical interventions. The device for maintaining the cavity in the preperitoneal space consists of interconnected first and second frames. Each frame contains a pair of ribs bent in the opposite direction from each other. The first frame contains protrusions made at the tops of the fastening of the ribs, and the second frame contains grooves for connection with the first frame, forming a groove connection. The instrument for delivering the device for maintaining the cavity in the preperitoneal space into the abdominal cavity is a plastic sleeve and is configured to be placed inside the sleeve of the device for maintaining the cavity in the preperitoneal space in a pre-compressed state.
EFFECT: use of the inventions makes it possible to provide support for the cavity in the preperitoneal space.
