FIELD: radiolocation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radiolocation. The technical result is achieved by evaluating the second range increment and the unambiguous radial velocity via weighted summation of a fixed sample of range measurements. The inter-observer differences in radial velocity determined via ambiguous Doppler measurements, and the measured maximum unambiguous radial velocity and inter-observer coefficients of ambiguity and the coefficient of ambiguity in the middle of the observation interval are calculated. Finally, the true radial velocity values over the observation interval are determined.

EFFECT: technical result is to provide unambiguous measurement of radial velocity of an aircraft (LA) in a coherent pulse radar at Doppler frequencies exceeding the repetition frequency value by several times.
