FIELD: radar ranging.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar ranging and is intended for determining the course of nonmaneuverable objects. Said result is achieved by using a sample of products of measured range values ri at radial speed and thereby reducing the effect of measurement errors of range and azimuth. For this purpose, track speed is evaluated based on range product of range products on radial velocity and rate of angle is calculated in middle of observation interval Course is calculated as algebraic sum of smoothed values of azimuth course angle and also angles 0° or 180°. With the help of the known method of course determination from rectangular coordinates samples ambiguity of course determination in the claimed invention is eliminated.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in improvement of accuracy of course determination of the nonmaneuverable object.
