FIELD: aircraft piloting.

SUBSTANCE: method for qualimetry of maintaining the flight course when piloting an aircraft in automatic mode in the process of simulator training consists in the fact that during the flight in real time the flight course of the aircraft is randomly changed by at least 10 degrees. Then the pilot's actions are monitored for 10 seconds, and: if the mode of operation of the automated systems of the aircraft does not correspond to the specified mode, the pilot changes the mode of operation of the automated systems of the aircraft, and if the mode of operation of the automated systems of the aircraft corresponds to the specified mode, the pilot changes the pitch or slip angle, then the quality of maintaining the flight course when piloting the aircraft in automatic mode is considered satisfactory, otherwise it is unsatisfactory.

EFFECT: qualimetry of maintaining the flight course when piloting the aircraft in automatic mode.
