SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to therapy and gastroenterology, and is intended for the treatment of a patient diagnosed with gastroparesis. For the treatment of gastroparesis, the patient is administered Tradipitant in an amount and at a frequency sufficient to achieve or maintain a plasma concentration of at least 175 ng/ml during the period of the treatment regimen. In another embodiment, for the treatment of gastroparesis, an immediate-release solid form comprising Tradipitant and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients is administered orally to a patient twice daily in an amount of 100–400 mg/day of Tradipitant. Also a method for treating a patient diagnosed with gastroparesis, comprising oral administration to the said patient once a day of traditional Tradipitant in the form of a solid form with immediate release is disclosed, where the solid form with immediate release includes Tradipitant and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients, in an amount of 150–400 mg/day of Tradipitant. In addition, a method for treating gastroparesis which includes oral administration of 170 mg/day of Tradipitant to the said patient is disclosed.

EFFECT: use of the group of inventions makes it possible to increase the efficiency of treatment of a patient diagnosed with gastroparesis.
