FIELD: grinding bulk material.
SUBSTANCE: device for grinding bulk material and a method for opening such a device for access to its internal area. Device consists of a housing enclosing the grinding chamber, a rotating rotor located in the housing, equipped with rotary tools, a sieve holder, the sieve of which extends along the rotor perimeter section, as well as an inlet and outlet for the ground material. The sieve holder is configured with the ability to rotate from the closed first position around the first axis of rotation to the open second position and additionally around the second axis of rotation to the open third position, the first axis of rotation and the second axis of rotation passing transversely to each other. The method of opening the device described above consists of turning the sieve holder around the first axis of rotation until the open second position is reached at the first stage, and then at the second stage it is rotated around the second axis of rotation until the open third position is reached. At least in the open second position of the sieve holder, the first axis of rotation and the second axis of rotation form a common point.
EFFECT: grinder provides optimum accessibility to the inside of the grinder for efficient and reliable work on the rotor and the sieve.
