FIELD: manufacturing building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for manufacturing luminous volumetric concrete products that can be used as decorative elements, elements for the manufacture of advertising structures and other building structures, as well as road signs and traffic restraints. The method includes manufacturing a housing by casting into a prepared mould and placing optical fibre threads in the housing. At the same time, a master model of the product body is manufactured. Many pieces of optical fibre are introduced into the material layer of the master model of the product body in such a way that they protrude beyond its outer surface by 5-25 mm. The master model of the product body is placed in the formwork, which is filled with liquid polyurethane. After the polyurethane hardens and the master model is removed, a mould is formed with recesses in those places where the optical fibre segments protruded beyond the master model. A prefabricated polyurethane master model of the process chamber with sections formed on it for seats of light sources is placed in the finished form with the necessary clearance from its walls. Next, threads of optical fibre are installed in the holes in the mould and connected to the areas for the seats of light sources on the master model of the process chamber. Next, the form is filled with a concrete mix. After the concrete has hardened, the finished product is removed from the mould, and the master model of the process chamber is removed from the product.
EFFECT: improved quality of luminous volumetric concrete products and simplified implementation of the method.
