FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to a method for making a surgical instrument with LED lighting. Method of making a surgical instrument with LED lighting, comprising attaching a LED strip to the instrument in a sealed silicone capsule, at which on the working surface of the tool a silicone capsule attachment contour is marked, within which the smooth surface is processed by the sandblasting method until the roughness appears, and within this contour marks are made for fixing the LED strip LED IP20 12 V SMD 3014 24 W/m 240 LED/m 4000K 10 mm, to which a supply wire coated with medical rubber is connected, after which the LED strip is fixed with glue to the working surface of the instrument, then all the lighting elements are removed and soldered back at pre-calculated angles, further, along the contour of the fixation point of the silicone capsule, a glass formwork with a hole for the supply wire is installed, a separating layer of paraffin is applied to the formwork, after which it is poured with silicone to the upper level and placed in a vacuum chamber for 5 minutes to remove air, and in 96 hours, after hardening of silicone, control cleaning of the entire surface of the capsule and the working part of the tool is performed. In a second embodiment, a method of making a surgical instrument with LED lighting, comprising attaching a LED strip to the instrument in a sealed silicone capsule, at which a metal master model is made, a separating layer of paraffin is applied on it, after which a glass formwork is built around it and filled with silicone to the upper boundary, after 24 hours, the formwork is disassembled, the obtained silicone mould is cut lengthwise into two parts and the master model is removed, then, all lighting elements are soldered off from the LED strip and soldered back at pre-calculated angles, supply wire is connected to the LED strip, then the LED strip is fixed to a support made of two staples from medical steel with diameter of 0.8 cm, and placed in a silicone mould treated with paraffin, then it is poured with silicone, after 96 hours, after hardening of silicone, the obtained silicone capsule is removed from the mould and fixed to the tool by contact welding, all sharp edges are smoothed.
EFFECT: use of inventions provides improved illumination of hard-to-reach areas of abdominal and thoracic cavities and exclusion of visual discomfort caused by direct light flux into surgeon’s vision.
