SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for oil production from wells, including high-viscosity wells. The suction valve assembly of the sucker rod pump contains seat 3, locking element 6, connected in the lower part to rod 8, which is movably installed in guide sleeve 5. Element 6 is made in the form of a sphere coaxially connected to rod 8. Weight 9 is fixed at the bottom of rod 8. In the upper part of the sphere, above the line of conjugation with seat 3 and at an angle to the vertical line, slots are made, forming blades 7. The upper surface of seat 3 is made at an angle to the horizontal. The through hole in seat 3 is made perpendicular to the upper surface of seat 3 so that the axis of the hole in the plane of element 6 mating with seat 3 coincides with the axis of rod 8. Above element 6 stroke limiter 2 in form of a hemisphere is installed.
