METHOD OF AND DEVICE TO PROVIDE OPERATION OF SUCTION VALVE OF DEEP-WELL SUCKER-ROD PUMP Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: oil producing industry; well sucker rod pumping units.

SUBSTANCE: operation of proposed suction valve of deep-well sucker-rod pump is accompanied by forced closing of suction valve under action of additional force executed at pace of operation of pump. In case of failure of suction valve, its forced closing is provided by mechanical action onto valve by lower end of plunger together with reciprocation of plunger. Device to provide operation of suction valve of deep-well sucker-rod pump, in valve housing space of which floating ball is fitted over seat with holder, consists of cylinder connected with pump pipes with central arrangement of hollow plunger connected with drive sucker-rod string located in lower end of hollow plunger of delivery valve. Upper limiter with through holes to pass produced liquid is provided in valve space of suction valve. Valve guide and side longitudinal cavities to pass produced liquid are orientated to holes in valve upper limiter. Valve pusher installed for reciprocating within the limits of valve working stroke is installed in housing of suction valve over its upper limiter. Pusher is made for engagement with lower end of plunger at one side and with suction valve at other side. Valve pusher is made in form of disk with through holes registering with similar holes in upper limiter of valve. Pusher is provided with central rod pointed downwards and arranged in corresponding hole of valve upper limiter.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation of suction valve and pumps as a whole, and profitableness owing to decrease of underground repairs of wells for reconditioning.
