FIELD: mining industry and industrial ecology
SUBSTANCE: method for producing composite sorbents for wastewater treatment from metal ions - Fe(III), Cd(II), Zn(II), Cu(II), Cr(VI), oil and oil products, waste - tailings are used as the initial aluminosilicate material enrichment of copper pyrite ores of mining and processing plants (MPP). The method includes washing the mining waste with a dilute solution of strong acids - sulfuric or hydrochloric, then with water. Next, the washed waste MPP is mixed in a ratio of 30-70 wt.% with clay. Get granules with a size of 0.5-6.0 mm. Dry at 150-200°C. Then it is fractionated with the selection of 0.5-6.0 mm granules. Then calcined at 800-900°С.
EFFECT: use of technogenic wastes from mining operations to obtain a sorbent, which has a low cost and high efficiency of water purification from heavy metal ions and oil products.
