FIELD: brewing industry.

SUBSTANCE: device for production of malt contains a vertical cylindrical drum mounted in bearings with the possibility of axial rotation, and an auger located inside the drum, made in form of at least one strip attached along a helical line to the inner surface of the drum, the drum has devices for loading grain, unloading finished malt, filling and draining water and is equipped with a central pipe installed along the longitudinal axis of the drum, having perforated upper and lower parts with the possibility of supplying air and removing exhaust air. The device for loading grain is made in form of a hatch located in the upper part of the drum, and the device for unloading malt is made in form of a sliding gate located in the lower part of the drum, and the lower branch pipe connected to it, while the device for filling and draining water is made in form a swivel airtight coupling connected to the mentioned lower branch pipe, and in the side wall of the drum at the level of 0.6-0.7 of its height there is a side branch pipe with a gate valve to remove the alloy.

EFFECT: use of the group of inventions makes it possible to reduce the material consumption of equipment, energy costs and shorten the production cycle time while saving production space.
