FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. Proposed device for production of wort from grain raw material, which consists of lower tier, upper tier and at least one process tier located between them. Each tier is equipped with a mixer, a water supply pipe, a wort transfer pipe and an auger separator, consisting of a perforated pipe or a slotted screen inside which there is an auger, holes for the squeezed grain raw material output, wort discharge branch pipe, thrust washer and thrust spring. Bottom of each tier is inclined. On the process tier located above the lower tier there is a funnel for supply of crushed grain raw material. Lower tier has a wort outlet. Also disclosed is a method for producing wort from grain raw material.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides an increase in the output of the end product.
