SUBSTANCE: invention is proposed to amplify small currents. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the amplifying device includes the first current path for measuring small currents less than 100 pA, and on the first current path there is an input amplifying device, including at least one first amplifier, an output that inverts the input, the first path feedback connecting the output to the inverting input, and a feedback element contained in the feedback path, the first amplifier having at least one protective element, the second current path for measuring high currents with a maximum current of at least 10 times the current received in the first current path, wherein at least one of the protective elements of the amplifier is part of the second current path.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of creating an amplifying device for amplifying small currents, with the help of which switching is improved for amplifying high currents.
