FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction and municipal services, in particular to methods for cleaning and protecting drainage wells and pipelines of stormwater sewer from road contaminants. The method consists in accumulating contaminants in a drainage chamber of a drainage well and removing them as they are accumulated therein. At the drainage well inlet, a drainage chamber is installed, made in the form of a contaminant-accumulating funnel from an elastic and waterproof material with the hydrophobic surface, with the support of its rigidly reinforced part, i.e. the shell, on the face surface of the well at a height of not more than half of the largest surface overall size of the well, for example its diameter, with reinforcing the edge of the lower outlet opening of its neck with a forming rigid ring. Then, with the support on the ring above the lower opening of the funnel neck, to ensure its overlap by the forces of rigidity, a float valve from a waterproof material with the hydrophobic surface, with a biconvex lens profile and buoyancy when immersed in sewage not more than two thirds of its height is placed. As contaminants/deposits are accumulated in the drainage chamber and the float valve is monolithed by them, their removal is provided by erosion under the influence of a water jet under pressure with the help of special means, for example a sprinkler, and their output in the form of slurry onto the roadway, or in the self-cleaning mode under the influence of a sewage flow from the roadway during rainfall to the moment of restoring the buoyancy of the float valve therein and the free flow of waste water through the funnel openings into the bottom part of the drainage well and further to the sewerage network.
EFFECT: protecting the bottom part of drainage wells against the contamination with sewage from the roadway and the contamination of inlet and outlet openings of stormwater sewer pipelines up to their closing.
