SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the use of an aminopyrazole compound 4-[2-(4-bromophenylsulfanyl)acetylamino]-1-phenethyl-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or a composition of the said aminopyrazole compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof for the preparation of a medicinal product to treat alpha synucleinopathy: caused by Lewy bodies, Lewy neuritis or aggregates α-synuclein in neurons and glia; or caused by a mutation in the alpha-synuclein (SNCA) gene; or mediated by the activity of FAF1 in relation to the regulation of the amounts of LC-3 and p62, the activity of FAF1 in relation to the regulation of the amount α-synuclein, or mediated by the amount of aggregated α-synuclein, or mediated by the amount α-synuclein, which is phosphorylated at the amino acid S129 in the cells of the specified subject; or caused by accumulation of misfolded alpha synuclein or accumulation of alpha synuclein aggregates in the cells of the said subject.
