SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the dosage form of ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate. The pharmaceutical composition with antioxidant and hepatoprotective properties contains ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate as an active substance, an active substance release modifier and pharmaceutically acceptable excipients in the form of a tablet, characterized by the following: ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate is pre-treated with succinic acid, the dosage of ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate is 70–75 wt.% per core of one tablet, and as a modifier for the release of the active substance it contains high molecular weight hypromellose in the amount of 23–28 wt.% per core of one tablet.
EFFECT: invention provides an improved pharmaceutical form for sustained release of ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate.
