The method of production of a tablet of ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate, an antioxidant preparation forte, is characterized by a granulate being produced by granulation in a boiling (fluidised) layer from a mixture of pre-sifted substances of ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate, kaolin, microcrystalline cellulose and a moistening agent - 5 to 7% water solution of povidone, the granulate being powdered with a mixture of colloidal silicon dioxide, calcium stearate, talc, sodium carboxymethyl starch, subjecting the resulting mixture to dry granulation followed by pressing into tablets containing 250 to 500 mg ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate, coating them by spraying a suspension of a hypromellose-based film former.
