FIELD: rocket engineering.
SUBSTANCE: devices designed to control the flow rate of the fuel-air mixture of a ramjet engine (RJE). The claimed RJE fuel-air mixture flow regulator consists of a movable and fixed fuel-air mixture flow units, a drive, balls, a shaft, a gear and a gear element of the movable air-fuel mixture flow unit. The balls are installed in the holders between the fuel-air mixture flow units. The shaft is sealed with a gasket. The movable and fixed units of the fuel-air mixture consumption are in the form of a cone with longitudinal slots. A plug is installed on the narrow part of the fuel-air mixture flow units. A fairing is installed on the gear wheel and the gear element of the movable fuel-air mixture flow unit. The drive is located in the gas generator pylon.
EFFECT: ensuring effective regulation of the fuel-air mixture flow through the gas generator to ensure the operation of the RJE in different modes with high-quality mixture formation; the advantages of this technical solution are: economical fuel consumption for different modes of aircraft operation, manufacturability of the device, improvement in weight and size characteristics and increase in structural strength.
