FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to direct-flow air-jet engines in which a working medium is used to create an air-jet flow differing by compression due to a velocity head, in particular to supersonic, and can be used in space and defence industries. Technical result is achieved by releasing gas into special longitudinal slots in hollow partition walls having a streamlined body profile, stabilization of combustion by preliminary initiation of burning by barrier electric discharge in special longitudinal slots in hollow separating partition, which bottom forms more streamlined shape in cross section, than main part of streamlined body of partition and vortices around aerodynamic ledge on end of separating partition, and having adjustment of gas inlet points into air flow in special longitudinal slots in hollow separating partition depending on air speed, which provides wide range of automatic control of combustion process in ramjet.
EFFECT: technical result of the device is higher completeness of gas combustion, higher reliability of equipment and therefore improved technical and economic indicators of efficiency of combustion of gaseous fuel in air flow ramjet.
